I have been moved to the ante pardum unit. I am in a more comfortable bed but I don't have a window to the outside anymore. It is very depressing. I have told my nurse multiple times and Dr Meritt this morning that I can't be in here. I will really go psychotic in here. Looking out my window was my most peaceful alone times that is now gone. Dr Meritt appoligized and said she would not have moved me had she known I was coming to such a dark depressing room. They are going to try to move me within the next couple of days. There is a woman down the hall who will be delivering her twins any day now. Her room is bigger and has an outdoor view.
My visit with the specialist was uneventful which is good. Another specialist filled in for my doctor yesterday. He did not do an ultrasound but said that everything looks good. He said that this little guy looks really good and healthy for a 25 wk, 4 day baby. He was surprised at how well he stayed on the monitors.
I am now 25 weeks, 5 days. I have had no bleeding in over 4 days and no spotting in 2 days. Dr Meritt was very happy to hear this this morning.

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering more and more about who designed that hospital. No windows seems like a pretty poor choice. You'll just have to let Luc be your sunshine for a little while. :) Hugs. - Franke
